Warranty Information
Carolina Custom Garages represents and warrants the materials manufactured by or for Carolina Custom Garages and used in the installation of your floor coating system to be free from defects for as long as you own your home for all areas installed within the boundaries of the garage. Any floor coating area that extends beyond the garage door is warranted for three years from the date of installation. Warrantable defects include peeling, lifting or delaminating of the floor coating system.
The above warranty excludes the following:
- Damage caused by improper maintenance or repair, abuse, misuse, fire, water, acts of God or other events beyond the control of
Carolina Custom Garages, including, but not limited to, damage caused by removal or improper maintenance of the floor coating
system. - Attempted repair or removal of Carolina Custom Garages products by anyone other than Carolina Custom Garages.
- Damage due to improper cleaning methods.
- Products that have not been installed by Carolina Custom Garages.
- Products that have not been paid for in full.
- Damage caused by a hydrostatic water problem, moisture vapor permeating the concrete slab, the condition of the concrete slab,
or exposure to either battery acid or brake fluid. - Delaminating caused by improper concrete slab condition, or an internal failure of the concrete slab.
- Cracks in the concrete slab prior to or occurring after the installation of the floor coating system that appear from normal ground
shift and/or expansion/contraction of the concrete slab.
Proof of purchase is required when making a warranty claim. All warranty claims must be in writing. To make a warranty claim, contact
Carolina Custom Garages, 3120 Latrobe Dr. Ste. 180, Charlotte, NC 28211. Carolina Custom Garages will determine in its sole and
absolute discretion, whether: (a) the floors have been properly maintained, and (b) the warranties granted herein are
applicable and not otherwise subject to the exclusions hereunder. If a claim is determined to be subject to the warranties hereunder, then
Carolina Custom Garages will repair or replace the items subject to the claim at Carolina Custom Garages’ expense. Repair or replacement
is your sole and exclusive remedy. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to you, the original buyer. This warranty may
not be assigned or transferred.
EXCEPT AS EXPLICITLY SET FORTH ABOVE, CAROLINA CUSTOM GARAGES DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED
WARRANTIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, AND TRADE USAGE. CAROLINA CUSTOM GARAGES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT,
INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGE TO PERSONAL
PROPERTY, LOSS OF TIME, LEGAL SERVICES, OR TRAVEL) WHETHER OR NOT ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THE SAME
AND WHETHER OR NOT BASED IN WARRANTY, CONTRACT, INDEMNITY, TORT (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO,
NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LAW OR EQUITY.
